Lamar Jackson Injury Update for Fantasy Football
While Lamar Jackson did limp a little after being tackled by Bobby Wagner on Sunday, he stayed in for the rest of the series and also played one more series in the blowout victory. Tyler Huntley replaced him in the fourth quarter.
It appears that Jackson avoided any kind of major injury on the play, though. He told reporters after the game that he felt fine. It doesn't appear that this is going to cause any issues for Lamar Jackson.
Fantasy managers should anticipate Lamar Jackson being a full go on Sunday when the Ravens face a strong Cleveland Browns defense. The injury scare from Week 9 should not be factored into projections.
Lamar Jackson Fantasy Football Outlook
On Sunday against the Seahawks, Lamar Jackson was 21-for-26 for 187 yards. He didn't throw a touchdown. He also added 10 carries for 60 yards. It was the third time this season that Jackson failed to account for a touchdown. He also failed to throw for one in another game but scored two on the ground.
Jackson currently leads the NFL in completion percentage at 71.5%, but he's thrown touchdowns on the fewest percentage of his passes since his rookie year.
Despite that, his rushing upside makes him a high-end fantasy QB1, even with the touchdown passes not coming like they usually do. Jackson is the overall QB4 on the season right now, though he ranks as the QB7 in fantasy points per game. He's a must-start, especially without the injury concerns.
