Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson played on all 59 of his team's offensive snaps in Week 6, finishing with 210 passing yards and 77 rushing yards on seven carries.
Jackson didn't appear to get banged up during the Week 6 loss to the Giants, but he popped up on the injury report with a hip issue on Wednesday.
The Ravens will be back in action on Sunday at home in an important divisional matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Will Jackson be active in Week 7 or will his hip injury prevent him from playing? Let's dive in and take a look.

Lamar Jackson Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
Update-Wednesday, October 19: Jackson was limited on Wednesday with a hip injury.
Update-Thursday, October 20: Jackson returned to a full practice Thursday.
Update-Friday, October 21: Jackson was a full participant in Friday's practice.
Lamar Jackson Injury News
Jackson's hip issue is a new ailment in 2022 as he didn't seem to be dealing with anything in Week 6. Previously this season, Jackson was limited with a sore elbow in a Wednesday practice ahead of a Week 3 matchup against the Patriots. He wound up playing against New England after getting upgraded to a full practice on Thursday and Friday.
It is possible that the Ravens are just giving Jackson a maintenance day to keep him fresh, considering his rushing game leaves him open to more hits than the average quarterback.

That being said, anytime a player pops up on the injury report, it is worth monitoring from a fantasy perspective.
Is Lamar Jackson Injured or Playing in Week 7?
The initial thought here is that Jackson is getting a bit of rest and should be able to suit up on Sunday, but it will be important to keep an eye on the Ravens' practice reports on Thursday and Friday of this week. Based on this quote, he certainly sounds like someone who is planning on playing this week.

If Jackson is able to get in a full practice by Friday, he should be good to go against Cleveland on Sunday afternoon.
Lamar Jackson on an offense that has scored 4 TDs in 10 red-zone drives in last 3 games: "We know what we’re supposed to do. We’re the offense. Our job is to score points. We’re not trying to rely on [Justin Tucker]. The only time we should rely on him is for extra points."

If Jackson is able to suit up, his fantasy managers will be hoping for an improved offensive performance after a slow three-week stretch for the Baltimore offense. The expected return of top receiver Rashod Bateman should also help.
For now, fantasy gamers counting on Jackson should plan on having him available but it would be a good idea to have a backup quarterback available on the roster in case his hip issue prevents him from taking the field. Keep monitoring Jackson's status leading up until kickoff on Sunday, but he can tentatively be trusted in Week 7 lineups.
