Is Lamar Jackson Hurt Or Healthy?
After a strong start to the season that included two fantasy performances of 40-plus points, Lamar Jackson's production has waned in recent weeks. Most recently, he posted 133 passing yards with a score and 82 rushing yards in a Week 11 win over the New Orleans Saints.
The dynamic Ravens' pivot has been dealing with a hip injury ahead of Baltimore's Week 12 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jackson logged a DNP for Wednesday's practice session but has since returned to practice in full on Thursday and Friday. Barring any late developments, he is expected to be active against the Jags on Sunday.
Lamar Jackson Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 12
It looks as though Jackson's absence from Wednesday's practice was simply a precautionary measure. His return to full practice participation on Thursday and Friday bodes well for his availability against Jacksonville.
The Ravens' superstar has been underwhelming in recent weeks and has failed to score over 20 fantasy points in each of Baltimore's last two outings.
Despite his sluggish performances of late, Jackson remains a no-brainer QB1 with elite fantasy upside. The matchup against Jacksonville projects to be a good one. The Jags have allowed the ninth-most rushing yards (218) yards in the NFL to the QB position and rank 31st in the league in Pass Defense DVOA.
