Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has been one of the biggest stories of this season. Along with Puka Nacua, Williams has played a huge role in his team's success this season.
The Rams won 26-9 against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6, but unfortunately, Williams suffered an ankle injury during that game. The 23-year-old running back had 158 rushing yards on 20 carries and scored one rushing touchdown during that game.
How serious is Williams' injury? Will he play this week? Let's take a look at his injury update.

Kyren Williams Injury Update for Fantasy Football
As per the latest reports, Kyren Williams has suffered an ankle sprain. He is unlikely to play in Week 7, but could possibly return to play for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8. This is good news for the Rams, as quarterback Matthew Stafford has been helped a lot by his running back this season.
The Rams are 3-3 to start the season and will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7. Williams could have been the difference-maker in that game, but since he's not playing, all eyes will be on Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua to make the big plays.
In Williams' absence, Ronnie Rivers would have been the leading running back for the Rams, but he is also out due to an injury. As a result, the franchise will make some moves to add another running back to play alongside Zach Evans.
Kyren Williams Fantasy Football Outlook
In the six games that he has played this season, Kyren Williams has rushed for 456 yards on 97 carries with seven rushing touchdowns. He averaged 76 rushing yards per game on 4.7 yards per carry.
Over the first six weeks, the Rams running back recorded a total of 98.1 points in full PPR scoring leagues. The RotoBaller staff has him ranked #13 among the running backs.
Williams' usage was quite high, which is why the Rams also parted ways with Sony Michel. It will be interesting to see what Sean McVay does next, given that his team won't have a good running game to support Stafford and others.
