Kyren Williams was one of the top breakout stars in fantasy football last season. He went from being undrafted in most 12-team leagues to leading the NFL in rushing yards per game (95.3) and finishing second in fantasy points per game -- behind only Christian McCaffrey.
Fantasy managers were ready to take him in Round 1 this year, but unfortunately, the Rams selected Michigan running back Blake Corum in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft. And now, Williams is dealing with an injury and won't participate in OTAs.
Will William be ready for training camp, and what is his 2024 fantasy football outlook after the team took Corum? We have the latest update, so let's dive in.

Kyren Williams Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Rams head coach Sean McVay said Williams (foot) is dealing with a "foot issue" and won't take part in the team's offseason program this spring. However, he said Williams will be back on the field for training camp this summer. "It's nothing to worry about. He'll be ready to go for training camp, but there's a little issue when he was training, and [I'll] kind of just leave it at that," McVay said. "But nothing to be concerned about."

The 23-year-old injured his foot during offseason training, but for now, it doesn't seem too serious. It will be worth monitoring in training camp beginning in late July.
Kyren Williams 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
While Williams should still have plenty of fantasy value as an every-week starter in 2024, Corum's arrival could cap his ceiling at a low-RB1 finish. Both ball-carriers are likely to be heavily involved, especially after general manager Les Snead hinted at wanting to keep Williams fresh throughout the new season.
He's still going off the board at the RB8 spot in early FFPC Best Ball drafts, but he's likely to fall a few more spots after his injury news and future training camp reports. He's currently going ahead of Travis Etienne and Josh Jacobs. RotoBaller's Best Ball Rankings place him in the RB10 chair, behind both of those potential workhorses.
