Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has been a fantasy superstar since he entered the NFL in 2019. The fourth-year quarterback is currently the QB8 for the year. Furthermore, he has never finished lower than QB10 in any year of his career.
Despite his injury-plagued receiving core, Murray has averaged 19.4 fantasy points per game this season. He has scored more fantasy points than several big-name quarterbacks this year, including Tom Brady, Tua Tagovailoa, and Justin Herbert.
However, the veteran quarterback has dealt with injuries in his career. He missed last week’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams with a hamstring injury.

Is Kyler Murray Healthy Or Injured?
The superstar quarterback was a limited participant in practice last week but ultimately didn’t play against the Rams. Similarly, Murray was a limited participant in practice this week.
Yet, head coach Kliff Kingsbury labeled a game-time call for Monday night’s matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
So, how should fantasy players handle the situation?
Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire And Start In Week 11?
Fantasy players could add Colt McCoy off the waiver wire and start the veteran if Murray is ruled out Monday night. The former Texas Longhorn is available in over 95% of ESPN leagues.
However, fantasy players should consider a different option. Jimmy Garoppolo is available in over 55% of ESPN leagues and has been an excellent streaming option this season. Furthermore, the San Francisco quarterback plays Monday night, allowing fantasy players to wait until the last minute to decide their quarterback position.
The former second-round pick ranks in the top 10 in several categories this season, including passer rating, yards per attempt, and completion percentage.
More importantly, the veteran quarterback is averaging 15.5 fantasy points per game. Since taking over as the starter, Garoppolo has been the QB17. However, he has scored at least 15.9 fantasy points in five straight games.
Meanwhile, the veteran has an excellent matchup in Week 11. The Cardinals have surrendered 19 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, the sixth-most in the NFL. Furthermore, they have given up nine passing touchdowns over their past four games.
