Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Mitchell Trubisky have each started at least four games this season, and in Week 15, it was Trubisky who started or an injured Pickett.
Since Pickett is a rookie quarterback taken in the first round that has already won the starting job, this decision by head coach Mike Tomlin will be purely injury related. That said, we'll have to check on Pickett's status heading into Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Who will start on Saturday night, and should either Pittsburgh quarterback be started in single-quarterback leagues? Let's dive in.

Is Kenny Pickett Or Mitch Trubisky Starting In Week 16 Fantasy Football?
Pickett (head) had cleared the league's concussion protocol and is in line to start in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Eve on Saturday. Pickett missed the Week 15 win over the Carolina Panthers after suffering his second concussion of the year the previous week. The 24-year-old's return should be good news for tight end Pat Freiermuth, who didn't see a single target on Sunday, but it could be bad news for receiver Diontae Johnson, who had his best game of the year in Week 15 with Mitch Trubisky under center.
The Steelers are not a playoff team, but they'll get to continue to evaluate their young quarterback moving forward.
Should I Start Kenny Pickett In Week 16?
Pickett, as expected, has been up and down in his rookie year, throwing for 1,797 yards, four touchdowns and eight picks in 10 games. He'll have some decent QB2 upside in a nice matchup against the Raiders on Saturday night. That said, his outlook isn't strong enough to warrant heavy consideration in single-quarterback leagues unless options are ultra-thin.
In two-QB/superflex leagues, almost all starting quarterbacks are in lineups, and he's a great second quarterback play this week. The Raiders have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, and Pickett has rushing upside. He hasn't had a nuclear fantasy performance this season, but this could be the spot for him, if ever.
