Is Kenneth Walker III Playing in Week 10?
While Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III appeared on the team's injury report on Wednesday and didn't practice that day with a hip injury, he was back at practice on Thursday.
What's more, Kenneth Walker III no longer holds an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders. He joins Jaxon Smith-Njigba (hip), D.K. Metcalf (hip), and Tyler Lockett (hamstring) as Seahawks skill position players who were on the injury report during the week but who no longer carry an injury designation.
Fantasy managers should anticipate Kenneth Walker III to be good to go on Sunday against the Commanders.
Kenneth Walker III Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
Kenneth Walker III is coming off his worst game of the season last week against the Ravens with nine carries for 16 yards. He had one reception for one yard as well. It was the second game in a row that Walker has seen just single-digit carries.
That's a big change from the rest of the season, when he had 12 or more carries in every game. Zach Charbonnet didn't see a huge increase in touches though, with the issue mostly being game-script related.
This could be a get-right spot for Walker against a Commanders defense that has been solid against the run, but not as good as the Raven and Browns defenses have been. Walker is a high-end RB2 option this week against a Washington team that recently traded away two key parts of its defensive line.
