As we head into Week 14 of the NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks are dealing with multiple injuries in their backfield. Fantasy managers must stay on top of this messy situation.
Ahead of their Week 14 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, both Kenneth Walker III and DeeJay Dallas are battling injuries, while Travis Homer is working his way back from an issue that forced him to miss last week's game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Is Kenneth Walker III playing in Week 14? Should I start Deejay Dallas or should I start Travis Homer? Below we take a quick look at the updated injury status for Walker, Dallas, and Homer; and attempt to answer these questions.

Is Kenneth Walker III Playing In Week 14 Against the Panthers?
Seattle's rookie running back Kenneth Walker III has been spectacular in 2022. Since entering the lineup for an injured Rashaad Penny in Week 6, Walker has logged 729 total yards and nine TDs for the Seahawks.
Unfortunately, the explosive rookie now appears to be dealing with his own injury. Walker was forced from Seattle's Week 13 game against the Las Vegas Raiders with what looked to be an ankle injury. He exited in the first half and did not return. Monday morning, Seahawks HC Pete Carroll categorized Walker's injury as an unusual ankle strain.
Walker hasn't been able to participate in Seattle practices in any capacity this week. He is officially listed as questionable. Friday, Carroll classified him as a game-time decision.
Is DeeJay Dallas Playing In Week 14 Against the Panthers?
The number-two RB on the Seahawks' depth chart, DeeJay Dallas, is also dealing with an injury. Like the aforementioned Walker, Dallas was forced from last week's game against the Rams with the issue and did not return. He has logged 146 total yards this season while playing in a backup capacity.
Dallas' injury outlook is very similar to Walker's. He was unable to log work in any practice sessions this week and has been deemed a game-time decision by HC Pete Carroll. The back is officially listed as questionable.
Should I Start Travis Homer In Week 14?
The third musketeer in this messy Seattle situation is Travis Homer, a long-time member of the Seahawks that has spent the majority of his career as a change-of-pace back in this Seattle offense. Like Walker and Dallas, Homer has struggled with injury issues and was forced to miss last week's game against the Rams with an illness.
Unlike Walker and Dallas, Homer has been able to return to practice this week. The 24-year-old opened the week as a limited practice participant but was able to get in full sessions on both Thursday and Friday. Along with fourth-stringer Tony Jones Jr., Homer stands out as the healthiest RB on the Seattle depth chart as we enter the weekend.
The former Miami Hurricane is the top candidate to inherit the bulk of the work in this Seattle offense should both Walker and Dallas be unable to go in Week 14. If Homer does get the start, he's an intriguing fantasy option due to his expected volume and an enticing matchup against the woeful Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are relinquishing a juicy 4.82 yards per carry on the ground and rank 22nd in the NFL in Rush Defense DVOA.
While fantasy managers will have to sweat the status of both Walker and Dallas ahead of Seattle's 4:25 PM ET kickoff Sunday afternoon, Homer is a worthy "stash and hope" fantasy option that should be in starting lineups in the absence of the other Seahawks running backs.
