Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (calf) has now missed two consecutive games in Weeks 14-15 with a calf injury. While he hasn't explicitly been ruled out for the season, fantasy managers only care about the next three weeks specifically, and most only care about the next two.
This is because the majority of fantasy football championships wrap up in Week 17. Multi-game absences leading up to the final few weeks are never good news. While many fantasy managers have likely found at least temporary replacement options for Walker, it's important to know each week if more need to be sought after on the waiver wire and in free agency.
So will Walker miss the rest of the season?

Is Kenneth Walker III Out For The Season?
It doesn't seem like he will right now, but calf injuries can be tricky business. We don't expect this to be a situation similar to that of San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (knee), who supposedly had just a calf strain. In that case, 9ers head coach Liar Shanahan (excuse me, Kyle Shanahan) intentionally misled everyone about CMC's ailment.
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald had an update on when RB Kenneth Walker III will return to the field after sitting out the last two games with a calf injury.

It's only Tuesday, so there isn't much in the way of updates, but on Monday, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said that the third-year pro had a good workout and that they'd see how he felt on Wednesday regarding practice. This isn't the rhetoric of a coach that thinks his player will miss the remainder of the year.
So it's probably safe to assume the former Michigan State Spartan will return by Week 17. Week 16 is a little bit less clear right now. The practice reports coming out over the next few days will be crucial, though. Even if he's only able to log limited sessions, he should be in good shape to return this Sunday.
Seattle is still in the playoff hunt, so they probably aren't considering shutting their starting RB down for the season yet.
