Is Kenneth Walker III Hurt Or Healthy?
Seattle's rookie running back Kenneth Walker III has been spectacular in 2022. Since entering the lineup for an injured Rashaad Penny in Week 6, Walker has logged 729 total yards and nine TDs for the Seahawks.
Unfortunately, the explosive rookie now appears to be dealing with his own injury. Walker was forced from Seattle's Week 13 game against the Las Vegas Raiders with what looked to be an ankle injury. He exited in the first half and did not return. Monday morning, Seahawks HC Pete Carroll categorized Walker's injury as an unusual ankle strain. Carroll couldn't confirm his star back's status for Week 14 but said that he could be available for a scheduled date with the Carolina Panthers.
Kenneth Walker III Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 14
Walker has been a revelation for both the Seahawks and his fantasy managers this year. For the moment, it appears as though he has dodged a serious injury of the season-ending variety.
The rookie's fantasy managers are likely in for a long week of waiting, as it appears Walker's status for a Week 14 game against the Carolina Panthers won't be clear anytime soon. Those GMs with Walker on their rosters will need to monitor his status as the week progresses. To cloud the situation even further, both of Seattle's other running backs - Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas - are also dealing with injuries.
