Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell was one of the most explosive and fun players to watch in the NFL last year. In the era of maddeningly lower-scoring offenses and a huge lack of big plays, the speedster is a breath of the purest fresh air from a time before the Industrial Revolution.
Mitchell is electric, and he sadly went down with a torn ACL in December last season. The NFL is deprived of possibly its most exhilarating player to watch, and we haven't seen him back on the field yet. A backfield tandem with future Hall of Famer Derrick Henry and Mitchell would be dynamite.
Is Keaton Mitchell coming back this season? Is he healthy or still hurt? Let's break it all down.

Keaton Mitchell Injury Update for Fantasy Football
He's still not healthy, and he's not playing anytime soon. There's a good chance he could return for the 2024 season at some point, but it's up in the air whether it will be in the regular season. He is "right on schedule," though, so that's good. Any complications with his recovery could set his return timetable past the end of 2024.

Mitchell tore his ACL in December, as stated earlier, so returning in October was always unlikely. He may be a long shot for November as well. The Ravens have absolutely no reason to hurry him along as long as King Henry is healthy and bashing opposing defenses.
Mitchell should have plenty of time to recover, and the Ravens likely see the risk of reinjury as far less worth it than preserving him for 2025. It's unclear if they would try to accelerate his return were Henry to be injured, though.
