Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross is among the list of players who could surprise everyone this upcoming season. He hasn't played football in the last two years as he was diagnosed with a congenital fusion in his spine when he was still at Clemson.
Ross signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chiefs after the 2022 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old wide receiver missed the entire season last year due to a foot injury that he suffered before the start of the season.
So far, he has had a great offseason with the Chiefs. Unfortunately, Ross suffered another injury on Monday, August 14. He was carted off the field due to a hamstring injury, which concerned all Chiefs fans and fantasy football managers.

How Serious is Justyn Ross' Injury?
Although Ross has had a tough time dealing with injuries, the latest hamstring issue is not considered serious. As per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Chiefs WR will be "OK" soon, and that is great news for everyone involved.
There has been a lot of hype surrounding the Clemson product. If he manages to stay healthy, we expect him to become a reliable option in the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs offense. Fantasy managers can get Ross in later rounds. Given how he looked in the preseason game against the New Orleans Saints, Ross could have a pretty good season playing alongside great players like Travis Kelce, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, etc.
Justyn Ross Has Had a Great Offseason
Justyn Ross could have played the latter part of last season, but the Chiefs didn't want to rush him back from injury. Due to it, he has had a great offseason and is in great spirits for the upcoming season. In the game against the Saints, Ross finished with two receptions for 29 yards and a touchdown. Playing with Mahomes will elevate his game to the next level. Hopefully, he will stay healthy and dominate in the NFL, as he did in his first two years at Clemson.
