Fantasy managers rostering Bears quarterback Justin Fields got some distressing news on Wednesday. Fields did not practice!
Already Fields has missed one game because of a shoulder injury. He runs a lot and takes a lot of hits, and he’s been showing up on the injury report too often for comfort in recent weeks.

Justin Fields Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
After a poor start to the season, Fields has been blowing up the stat sheets since Week 5. In the first three games of the season, Fields threw interceptions in every game. From Week 2 to Week 4, he threw zero touchdown passes. In three of the first four weeks, he completed 50% or fewer of his pass attempts. In none of those games did he throw for 200 yards or greater.
Finally, in Week 5, Fields recorded a top-12 QB performance for the first time all season. It wasn’t much—just 208 yards and a touchdown—but since then, Fields has been a top-12 QB every single week.
Week 7 was when Fields began playing out of his mind. He ran for 88 yards and threw for 179 and a touchdown, finishing as QB5. He was QB5 again in Week 8. Then he was the QB1 in Week 9 and Week 10 when he ran for over 100 rushing yards in both games.
Fields’ improvement has been mainly because of his elite rushing ability, but he is throwing the ball better, too. From Week 7 on, he has completed over 60% of his passes in every game.
Justin Fields Injury News
Fields was added to the injury list because of an illness, but it appears he has recovered. He practiced in full on Thursday and Friday. Fields has been removed from the injury report, and he is good to go.
Is Justin Fields Playing In Week 15 Fantasy Football?
Yes, he will start against the Eagles. The Eagles are one of the toughest matchups for all offensive positions. QBs are scoring the least fantasy points against Philly. WRs are scoring the eighth-fewest. RBs are scoring the 15th-fewest.
The Eagles are allowing just 178.7 passing yards per game, the least in the league, and just 5.3 per pass attempt, also the least.
Fields has thrown an interception or more in each of the past three games, and the Eagles are leading the league in interceptions. The Eagles defensive line and linebackers are also a mismatch against Chicago’s weak offensive line, which has allowed 40 sacks this season.
His matchup this week is a difficult one, but Fields is so athletic and such an integral part of the Bears' offense that his fantasy managers would be well within their sanity to still start him.
