Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Joshua Palmer was beginning to trend up in fantasy football before suffering a knee injury that landed him on Injured Reserve. The third-year pro had an exciting role increase after Mike Williams suffered a torn ACL, but he didn't last very long as the team's WR2.
However, he is eligible to return from IR at any time, and it could be as soon as Thursday night against the Las Vegas Raiders. We have his latest update.
Will Palmer play against the Raiders? What's his fantasy football outlook if he suits up? Let's get into it.

Joshua Palmer Injury Update
Palmer (knee) was listed as a full-go on Monday's estimated practice report. The Chargers opened the 21-day practice window for Palmer to be activated off Injured Reserve last Wednesday, and there's a chance that they officially activate him before Thursday's contest versus the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders if he looks good on Tuesday.
Palmer's return to the lineup will provide fantasy gamers with another viable flex option or WR3, but he's likely to be catching passes from Easton Stick since Justin Herbert (finger) suffered a fractured finger in Week 14.
Joshua Palmer Fantasy Football Outlook
The Raiders have allowed the 13th-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, so even if Palmer returns in Week 14, he's far from a must-start. With Stick under center, it's tough to know how effective the Chargers' offense will be.
Keenan Allen (heel) was listed as a DNP on Monday. If he's out and Palmer is active, Palmer could be worth flexing. If Allen plays, trusting Palmer in the first round of the fantasy football playoffs seems like a risk to avoid.
In all likelihood, the Raiders-Chargers Thursday night matchup will be an ugly one that results in few fantasy points for all players involved.
