Is Josh Jacobs Hurt Or Healthy?
It's been a monster season for Las Vegas running back Josh Jacobs. Jacobs is the NFL leader in rushing yards with 1,402 and he's found the paint 11 times this season. Prior to Christian McCaffrey's performance on Thursday night, Jacobs was the overall fantasy RB1.
While the 24-year-old has produced at an elite level this year, he has battled nagging injuries in recent weeks. Though he hasn't actually missed any action, he's been listed as questionable for Vegas' last three games.
That trend continues ahead of a Week 15 clash with the New England Patriots, as Jacobs has been listed as a limited participant in Raiders' practices all week and enters the weekend officially designated as questionable due to quad and hand concerns. Despite the practice participation and the Q tag, it looks as though Jacobs will suit up against New England this week, per Raiders HC Josh McDaniels.
Josh Jacobs Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 15
This song and dance has become routine territory for Jacobs' fantasy managers. While the RB1 has now been questionable for four consecutive weeks, it appears as if there's little doubt that he'll be ready to roll for Week 15.
While Jacobs' status isn't really a concern, his matchup is. The New England Patriots have relinquished the league's fewest rushing TDs to opposing RBs and grade out 10th in the NFL in Rush Defense DVOA. Though the matchup is brutal, if you have Jacobs on your roster you are firing up the player that's been a fantasy golden goose in 2022.
