Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs (toe) missed the first two games of the 2024 season with an ankle injury, but after a ramp-up game, he put up two dominant fantasy performances, scoring 22.2 and 15.9 PPR fantasy points in Weeks 4-5. He's a fantastic slot receiver and has leveled up his game since 2023.
The second-year pro is a reliable target, consistently winning on short routes with his excellent quickness and serving as a trustworthy chain-mover. Despite his size, he still has red zone prowess, evidenced by his touchdown in Week 4.
Unfortunately, he's on the injury report now. So is Josh Downs hurt or healthy and will he play in Week 6?

Josh Downs Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The second-year pro is suffering from a toe injury. After missing practices on both Wednesday and Thursday, he returned to practice Friday, though. It's possible he was given rest days to help him recover and reduce the risk of re-aggravation. He was reportedly looking good at practice Friday.
And Josh Downs is practicing and moving around pretty good, from all appearances.

There's a good chance he'll end up with a "questionable" designation on the team's upcoming injury report, but his return to practice bodes very well for his ability to suit up Sunday.
