Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was the 24th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and the fourth wide receiver selected in the first round. He started his college career at Pittsburgh, totaling 60 receptions for 666 receiving yards and four touchdowns his freshman year.
The following year Addison had a breakout season. The former Panther had 100 receptions for 1,593 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. He finished fourth in the country in receiving yards and first in receiving touchdowns that season.
However, the former Panther transferred to USC after the 2021 season. He teamed up with Caleb Williams and had high expectations last year. Addison dealt with minor injuries but had 59 receptions for 875 receiving yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games.

Is Jordan Addison Injured Or Healthy?
The first-round rookie wide receiver was having an outstanding training camp. Unfortunately, he was placed in the concussion protocol today. However, head coach Kevin O’Connell said Addison could return as early as Monday.
While no two concussions are the same, it’s encouraging news that the head coach believes the former Pittsburgh and USC star could return to practice shortly.
Should I Draft Jordan Addison At His ADP?
According to the RotoBaller ADP, the rookie wide receiver is an eighth-round pick in 12-team leagues and the 38th wide receiver off the board.
The former USC and Pittsburgh star has been outstanding during training camp. Furthermore, Addison showed off his excellent sideline awareness and ability during the team’s Week 1 preseason matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, the officials mistakenly called the rookie wide receiver out of bounds on this pass.
Addison finished the preseason game with one reception on three targets for 22 receiving yards. However, he flashed star potential in the contest.
More importantly, the rookie is replacing Adam Thielen in Minnesota’s offense. Last year the veteran wide receiver had 107 targets and ended the season as the WR30.
Fantasy players should feel confident drafting Addison this year. He is getting drafted as a high-end WR4 in 12-team leagues. Yet, the rookie has top-24 potential upside in the Vikings’ pass-happy offense.
