San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo wasn't supposed to be on the fantasy radar this season but after Trey Lance suffered a season-ending ankle injury, he's having one of the best seasons of his career.
Sure, he's not a weekly fantasy stud since he doesn't have rushing upside, but he's been a strong streaming option in favorable matchups for the last few years. Now, he finds himself on the injury report with one of the most favorable matchups for quarterbacks coming up on Sunday.
Will Garoppolo play in Week 13 and what is his fantasy outlook? We'll dive into it.

Is Jimmy Garoppolo Healthy or Injured?
Despite popping up on the injury report with a knee ailment, Garoppolo was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. That said, there shouldn't be much concern about his status against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
There's a chance the injury could affect him somewhat, but since he isn't a mobile quarterback, there's probably no need to be worried about that.
Jimmy Garoppolo Fantasy Outlook
The Miami Dolphins have allowed the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks through 12 weeks, so Garoppolo is a top-flight steamer for Week 13. Garoppolo has four QB1 finishes on the season, so it's not a leap to say he can be successful in this spot.
Elijah Mitchell (knee) is out for 6-8 weeks and Christian McCaffrey (knee) is in danger of missing this game, so there's a chance the 49ers are a bit more pass-heavy. Garoppolo has 16 passing touchdowns to four interceptions on the season, so he can take advantage of the game script. Ultimately, the 49ers' elite defense has allowed the offense to play conservative, but it's tough to expect them to completely shut down the strong Dolphins' offense with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
As always, continue to trust your stud quarterbacks before rolling with Garoppolo, but fantasy managers with banged-up quarterbacks like Justin Fields or quarterbacks on a bye like Kyler Murray should have Garoppolo at the top of their list at QB this week.
