Miami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. got out to a hot start after being traded from the San Francisco 49ers but has cooled off in recent weeks, and now finds himself on the injury report.
Wilson missed 15 games combined in 2020 and 2021 as a member of the 49ers, so another injury popping up is concerning for fantasy managers as he's been a solid flex play this season at the injury-riddled position that is running back.
Will Wilson play in Week 15? Is Raheem Mostert worth starting if Wilson can't play? We'll dive into it all.

Jeff Wilson Jr. Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Wilson (hip) is listed as day-to-day, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. The coach said that Wilson's test results "are more positive than the worst-case scenario it could have been. We have avoided the worst-case scenarios for sure."
That doesn't mean that Wilson won't miss any time after he was hurt in the second quarter of the Sunday night loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but it is good news overall for his chances to return before the fantasy football playoffs conclude. We'll know more later in the week about his chances to face the Buffalo Bills on Saturday night.
Should I Start Raheem Mostert in Week 15?
If Wilson isn't able to play in Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills, Raheem Mostert would receive a fantasy boost as the likely backfield leader. Although the Bills are a top-10 defense in fantasy points allowed to running backs, Mostert would draw real flex consideration since the running back landscape is in a tough spot as a whole.
Before Wilson joined the team, Mostert beat out Chase Edmonds easily and was a high-end flex play with a solid workload. Although Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin could also have elevated roles if Wilson is out, Mostert should dominate touches and be a threat to score a touchdown in what could be a shootout.
This game is on Saturday, so fantasy managers will have to stay posted and be ready to act quickly to Wilson's official game-day status.
