Is Ja'Marr Chase Injured or Playing in Week 16?
After suffering what was determined to be an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder during Cincinnati's Week 15 win over the Vikings, Ja'Marr Chase has been unable to practice in any fashion this week.
On Wednesday, Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz broke the news that Chase will not take the field for the team's Week 16 divisional game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport adds that the Bengals are currently considering their star wideout "week-to-week", which means he could miss time in addition to Week 16.
Ja'Marr Chase Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
While Chase's expected Week 16 absence doesn't come as a total shock to his fantasy managers, it is no less devastating. With managers now in the thick of their league's fantasy playoffs, Chase owners will be forced to find an alternative for their stud wideout.

With Chase sidelined, we can expect Bengals receivers Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd to see more volume, while Trenton Irwin also jumps into fringe consideration in deeper fantasy leagues.
Those who are streaming Cincinnati QB Jake Browning will also take a hit, as Chase's elite YAC ability will now be out of the picture for Browning. With Chase reportedly considered week-to-week, his managers can only hope to survive this week and get him back in lineups for a Week 17 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in what's the championship round in most leagues.
