Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had led his team to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. The first time Hurts made the Super Bowl came back during the 2022-2023 season, but the Chiefs won that matchup by a score of 38-35 in a thriller.
Now, Hurts will look to get revenge against the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. However, the two-time Pro Bowler has dealt with a knee injury for the past couple of weeks, which could put his status in jeopardy for Sunday.
So, is Hurts hurt or healthy? What is his fantasy football outlook for Super Bowl Sunday? Let's dive in.

Is Jalen Hurts Hurt? Injury Update for Super Bowl Sunday
Hurts originally injured his knee back in the Divisional Round against the Los Angeles Rams. However, the Eagles quarterback didn't miss any practice time leading up to the NFC Championship game against the Commanders. Although he was set to wear a knee brace in that game, the 26-year-old winded up taking off that brace before taking the field.
As a result, Hurts' knee issue won't prevent him from playing in Super Bowl LIX against the Chiefs. With two weeks between the NFC Championship game and the Super Bowl, his knee should be feeling a lot better heading into Sunday's big matchup.

It will be interesting to see how much his knee prevents him from running in this game. He only ran for 16 yards in the NFC Championship game but appeared to be moving just fine when he did escape the pocket. So, there shouldn't be any concerns about Hurts' knee entering the Super Bowl.
Jalen Hurts Fantasy Football Outlook Super Bowl Sunday
The last time Hurts played this Chiefs team in the Super Bowl, he scored 41.2 fantasy points. In that game, he had 304 pass yards, one pass touchdown, 70 rush yards, and three rushing touchdowns. While it would be a shock to see him repeat that performance on Sunday, the Eagles quarterback could still be in for a solid fantasy day.

The Chiefs have allowed at least 39 rush yards to quarterbacks in four straight games and have given up multiple passing touchdowns in three of the past five contests. So, Hurts should be a top fantasy option in the Super Bowl.
He has averaged 40.1 rush yards per game in the Eagles' three playoff games this season, and his rushing always makes him a strong quarterback play in fantasy. The 26-year-old has rushed for 16 touchdowns in his last 13 games. That makes Hurts almost a must-own in DFS contests this weekend.
