Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was a breakout fantasy start during the 2022 regular season, but a late-season injury caused him to miss two games and struggle in the Eagles' final contest in Week 18.
Despite the recent injury woes, Hurts will inevitably be a popular DFS choice thanks to his elite pass-catchers and rushing upside, so needless to say, his status for game day in the NFC Divisional Round has major fantasy implications.
Will Hurts play against the Giants this weekend? If so, what is his fantasy and DFS outlook? Let's dive into it.

Jalen Hurts Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Hurts (shoulder), who has been dealing with a sprained right shoulder for around a month, is not listed on this week's injury report and was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.
Hurts was a bit rusty in the Week 18 regular-season finale against the New York Giants, but the good news is his shoulder is improving and he will play in the Divisional Round this Saturday against the same Giants.
Jalen Hurts Divisional Round Fantasy Outlook
The 24-year-old dual-threat QB was the most valuable fantasy signal-caller in 2022 before injuring his right shoulder in Week 15. Hurts finished with a career-high 66.5% completion percentage, 3,701 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions while also gaining 760 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 165 carries.
In the first meeting with the Giants in Week 14, Hurts completed 21 of his 31 passing attempts for 217 yards and two passing touchdowns and added 77 rushing yards and a rushing score. In Week 18 after a two-game absence, Hurts completed 20 of his 35 passing attempts for 229 yards and totaled zero touchdowns to one interception. That game was against the Giants' second and third-string defense.
Hurts ($7,600) is the third-most expensive quarterback behind Patrick Mahomes ($8,000) and Josh Allen ($7,800) on the four game-slate. His dual-threat upside makes him matchup-proof, but if the injury affects him at all, he could be a risky play in the third meeting with New York, despite having arguably the most upside.
