Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins was the 55th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Dobbins had an outstanding college career, totaling 725 rushing attempts for 4,459 yards and 38 touchdowns in 42 games at Ohio State. He also had 71 receptions for 645 receiving yards and five touchdowns in college.
More importantly, the former Ohio State star had a productive rookie season. Dobbins had 134 rushing attempts for 805 yards and nine touchdowns in 2020. Furthermore, he finished 11th in the NFL with nine rushing touchdowns despite playing less than 50% of the snaps that year.
Many were excited to see what Dobbins would do in his sophomore season. Unfortunately, the former Ohio State star suffered a horrific knee injury during a preseason matchup, tearing multiple ligaments and the meniscus in his knee. He also suffered a hamstring tear. Sadly, the young running back missed the 2021 season because of the injuries.

What Did J.K. Dobbins Accomplish In 2022?
While many expected Dobbins to start the 2022 season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, the star running back was on the 53-man roster ahead of Week 1. However, he didn’t play the first two games last season, as Dobbins was still recovering from the injury.
Thankfully the former Ohio State star made his season debut in Week 3. Dobbins played the following three games before undergoing surgery on that same knee. The third-year running back missed the next six games. However, he was outstanding once returning to the field.
Dobbins averaged 14.3 rushing attempts for 99.3 yards per game over his final four contests last year. Furthermore, he averaged seven yards per rushing attempt during those four games.
The former Ohio State star had 92 rushing attempts for 520 yards and two touchdowns in eight games last season. He also had seven receptions on eight targets for 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Is J.K. Dobbins Injured Or Healthy?
Dobbins started training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list because of a knee injury. However, some believe the running back used the injury as a negotiating tool for a long-term contract.
Thankfully, the former Ohio State star came off the Physically Unable to Perform list today.
Fantasy players should be optimistic about the young running back this year. Dobbins could be a steal at his current sixth-round ADP if he plays like he did to end the 2022 season.
