Now, as Dobbins inches closer toward a return, it is important to monitor his status and decide whether you should insert him into your fantasy lineups this week.
Will Dobbins play in Week 1? Should you start Dobbins or any of his backfield-mates in fantasy football? Below, we answer these questions and more.

Is J.K. Dobbins Injured or Playing in Week 2?
Despite practicing in full all week, there was still some skepticism surrounding Dobbins' availability heading into Sunday morning. After all, he suffered a complicated ligament injury that was far more complex than a simple ACL tear. Now, in a clear exercise of caution, the Ravens have made Dobbins inactive for Week 2 against. He'll be forced to sit out at least one more contest before making his highly-anticipated return to the field.
Ravens Running Backs Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 2
With Dobbins sidelined, the Ravens will likely turn to Kenyan Drake and Mike Davis out of the backfield.
Last week, it was Davis who was expected to carry the bulk of the workload for Baltimore. The result? A highly underwhelming two-carry, 11-yard performance. He logged a minuscule 13 percent snap share in the process. Going forward, Davis is clearly the Ravens' No. 2 back, and as a result, he has no fantasy intrigue. He should be left on waivers in most formats.
Although Davis doesn't offer much intrigue, Drake offers some more upside. He should draw the start for the Ravens in Week 2. Last week, Drake totaled 11 rushes and 31 yards on the ground. He also turned his lone catch into an additional 15 receiving yards. Drake's 59 percent snap share wasn't monumental, but it was much higher than Davis'. It showed that Drake is the Ravens' lead back for the remainder of Dobbins' absence.
It would be a massive oversight to not mention Lamar Jackson. The quarterback's mobility is truly elite, allowing him to inject life into the Baltimore rushing attack. He has averaged at least nine rushes per game each year of his career, and he also as a pair of 1,000-yard rushing finishes under his belt. Jackson should be viewed as a mid-to-high QB1 given his electric role in the Ravens' offense.
