Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins was a rookie sensation who gained 925 yards from scrimmage in 2020. Fans were excited for his second year, but unfortunately, he tore his ACL in the final game of the preseason and missed all of 2021.
Dobbins' lousy injury luck continued into 2022. While he was cleared to return to the field in Week 3, he suffered a knee injury in Week 6 and was sidelined for eight more weeks. Finally, in Week 14, he returned to the field and looked as good as he had any time during his rookie year. He ran for 120 yards on 15 carries against the Steelers and then barreled for 125 yards the next week against the Browns.
But fantasy managers rostering Dobbins can't rest comfortably. On Tuesday, Dobbins missed the first practice of the fantasy football playoff semifinals weekend. So will Dobbins play in Week 16? Read on to learn more about his status.

J.K. Dobbins Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
J.K. Dobbins Injury News
Dobbins was placed on the Ravens' injury report on Tuesday with the tag "NIR – Rest/Knee." That label is somewhat confusing. "NIR" stands for "not injury related." It is not uncommon for teams to let their fatigued veterans rest on the first day of practice, but the mention of his knee indicates there is at least minor pain.
The Ravens also listed five other veterans on their injury report as "NIR." Among those, two others also had minor injuries tagged on. The fact that Dobbins didn't practice Tuesday was not as concerning as it may have seemed.
Is J.K. Dobbins Injured or Playing in Week 16 Fantasy Football?
On Wednesday, Dobbins was removed from the injury report and was back at practice. He is good to go in a home matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons' defense this season is not the laughingstock it was for much of last year. It is middle-of-the-pack against the run. PFF gives them the 13th-best run defense grade, and it ranks towards the middle in terms of rushing yards allowed per game and per attempt.
Atlanta did allow 100-yard-rushing games to D'Onta Foreman in Week 10 and to Brian Robinson Jr. in Week 12, so Dobbins could very well go for over 100 on his own skill. But he's not going to feast on the Falcons because of their weakness.
