Isiah Pacheco and the Kansas City Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers in this year's Super Bowl. The Chiefs are the reigning champions, having advanced this far by defeating the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs.
The Chiefs' offense struggled during the regular season, but in the playoffs, they have been quite efficient. Pacheco, their star running back, leads the team with 254 rushing yards on 63 carries and has scored a touchdown in each of the playoff games this season.
However, heading into the Super Bowl, he missed a couple of practices. How serious are his ankle and toe injuries? Will he play on Sunday against the 49ers? Let's take a look at his status.

Is Isiah Pacheco Injured or Playing in Super Bowl?
As per the latest update, Pacheco is not on the injury report for the Chiefs. He is fully healthy and will play in the Super Bowl. Last week, the Chiefs took the preventive measure of not rushing him to full practice as they had plenty of time to prepare for the game. Since the team is now in Las Vegas and practicing in full flow, the 24-year-old running back is up to full speed.
Pacheco missed two games in the regular season due to a shoulder injury and was rested in Week 18. Apart from Jerick McKinnon and Joe Thuney, the rest of the Chiefs players on offense are fully healthy to play this week.
McKinnon (core injury + fractured pelvis), last played in Week 14, but could be activated from the IR before the game; however, Thuney (pec strain) faces a race against time to play in the Super Bowl.
Isiah Pacheco Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
During the regular season, Isiah Pacheco rushed for 935 yards and nine touchdowns on 205 carries in 14 games, averaging 4.6 yards per carry. The 49ers' defense has been vulnerable to the run this season as they have given up an average of 159 rushing yards per game in this year's playoffs, and the Chiefs' running backs are more than capable of giving them a hard time.
The Rutgers product has now scored a touchdown in each of his last four playoff games heading back to last year's Super Bowl, and his performance can decide the outcome of the game against the 49ers.
Although the 49ers enter this game as a -2.5-point favorite, the Chiefs have been the much better team in the playoffs. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in Las Vegas this coming Sunday.
