Isiah Pacheco Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco has been held out the past two weeks because of his shoulder injury, but signs look promising for Pacheco to return to the football field on Christmas Day when the Chiefs face the Las Vegas Raiders.
Pacheco returned to practice on Thursday and was a full go, a great sign for his upcoming availability. While the fact that the Chiefs don't play until Monday could potentially cause an issue for fantasy managers if Pacheco suffers a setback, it should be safe to assume that he'll be ready to play this week against Vegas.
Isiah Pacheco Fantasy Football Outlook
With Isiah Pacheco set to play on Monday against the Raiders, fantasy managers can get the former Rutgers star back into their fantasy starting lineups. Pacheco should be viewed as a high-end RB2 play in Week 16 against Las Vegas.
When these teams last met in November, Pacheco carried the ball 15 times for 55 yards and two touchdowns, marking the only time this season that Pacheco has scored multiple touchdowns in a game. He also was targeted five times, catching all five passes for 34 yards. Pacheco comes into this game with 89 or more scrimmage yards in his past three games and he has a great chance to continue that streak on Christmas Day.
