Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich has had a productive 2022 season. The former UCLA star was a third-round pick by the Broncos this year.
The rookie is the TE23 for the year, averaging seven half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, he missed the first five games this season with an injury.
In his first NFL game, Dulcich had two receptions for 44 receiving yards and a touchdown against Los Angeles Chargers, scoring 11.4 fantasy points. He averaged 10.1 fantasy points per game over his first career games, scoring at least 8.1 fantasy points in every contest.

Is Greg Dulcich Out For The Season?
Unfortunately, the young tight end suffered a hamstring injury late in the Week 16 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. With only two games left this year, the Broncos placed Dulcich on injured reserve, ending his season.
While he won’t play again this year, the future is bright for Dulcich. He averaged 9.3 fantasy points per game in the four contests with over six targets this year. Furthermore, he had a career-high 11.9 fantasy points last week against the Rams.
With Dulcich out for the year, Eric Saubert will step up as the new starting tight end.
Should I Pickup And Start Eric Saubert For Week 17?
Fantasy players have no reason to add Saubert off the waiver wire. The veteran tight end has averaged only 1.6 fantasy points per game this season, scoring fewer than 3.1 fantasy points in all but two contests.
Instead, fantasy players should add and start Jelani Woods in Week 17. The Indianapolis Colts tight end is available in over 98% of ESPN leagues.
Woods has averaged 4.8 targets and 6.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per game over the past four contests. Meanwhile, Kylen Granson won’t play against the New York Giants with an ankle injury, creating more snaps and targets for the rookie. When Granson missed the Week 12 matchup, Woods had eight receptions for 98 receiving yards and 13.8 fantasy points against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
More importantly, he has an excellent matchup this week. The Giants have given up 14.6 fantasy points per game and four receiving touchdowns to tight ends over their past five contests. Last week, they surrendered 109 receiving yards and 29.4 fantasy points to T.J. Hockenson.
