Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has continued his career resurgence that began last season.
Smith has the ninth-highest PFF passing grade. He has completed 68.3% of his pass attempts and thrown five touchdowns to just one interception while leading the Seahawks to a 3-1 record.
But Smith left his last game on Monday Night Football in Week 4 with a knee injury, and fantasy managers are concerned it could impact him in future weeks. What is Geno Smith's injury status, and will he be healthy for Week 6?

How Did Geno Smith Hurt His Knee?
Geno Smith left the Seahawks' Week 4 game against the New York Giants when linebacker Isaiah Simmons grabbed him by his shoulder pads near the sideline and landed with his weight on Smith's leg.
Smith had to leave the game to be evaluated and Seahawks' backup QB Drew Lock completed 2-of-6 pass attempts for 63 yards in relief. Smith returned to the game after halftime, but he did not play every snap. The Seahawks went on to win the game and had a bye in Week 5.
Geno Smith Injury Update
Geno Smith twisted his knee, but he did not suffer serious knee damage. He has not had to miss practice either. He went through drills on Monday, and then, on Wednesday, he logged a full practice.
According to CBS Sports and The Athletic, Smith should be good to go for Week 6. He is "fine," said coach Pete Carroll.
Should You Start Geno Smith in Week 6?
The Seahawks face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6. The Bengals are in the middle of the pack when it comes to pass defense. Fantasy QBs are averaging 15.3 points per game against the Bengals, which is 23rd out of 32 teams in the NFL.
While opposing quarterbacks have thrown seven touchdown passes against the Bengals, the eleventh-most in the league, the Bengals defense has also come up with six interceptions, the fifth-most. Smith is better at protecting the football than most of the quarterbacks the Bengals have faced thus far.
While Smith is playing well, he is not attempting many passes or throwing for a high depth of target. That limits his passing yardage and his fantasy upside. In his four starts, he has only finished amongst the top 12 fantasy QBs once. That was a Week 2 shootout against the Lions, a game that went into overtime and gave Smith the chance to add an extra TD pass after the end of regulation.
In his other three starts, Smith finished as the QB26, the QB20, and the QB27. In two of those, he was not even in QB2 territory. Smith is not a recommended start in single-QB leagues, and he is not even a strong Superflex option in standard leagues. The one format he does excel in is leagues that award points for quarterbacks with a high completion percentage, such as the Scott Fish Bowl and those that use the same scoring format.
