Coming out of Ohio State, Garrett Wilson was regarded as a top-three wideout in the 2022 NFL draft, and he proved that he was even better than originally thought by becoming the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year despite subpar QB play.
2023 was supposed to be the year that Wilson became an All-Pro with Aaron Rodgers throwing him the football; however, Rodgers tore his Achilles in Week 1. As if things couldn't get any worse, in Week 2, Wilson left the game against Dallas late in the fourth quarter.
Is Wilson playing in Week 3 against the Patriots? Is he a good option for fantasy football? Let's take a look.

Is Garrett Wilson Injured or Healthy?
Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson (undisclosed) has been cleared of any injuries and is good to go against the Patriots. Jets HC Robert Saleh told reporters after the 30-10 loss against Dallas that Wilson "had the wind knocked out of him."

Per other reports, Wilson appeared to be alright in the locker room when the game ended. Wilson now seems motivated to beat the Patriots in Week 3, as he called his team's 14-game losing streak to the Pats "unacceptable."
Garrett Wilson seems to be fine for Week 3 and moving forward, should resume his role as Zach Wilson's top target.
Garrett Wilson Fantasy Football Outlook
Wilson has started the 2023 season slowly, but it mostly isn't his fault. He expected to catch passes from Aaron Rodgers when the season started, but instead, he'll be catching passes from Zach Wilson, who is making some errant throws behind a putrid offensive line.
Like always, the Pats are a solid defensive unit in 2023, as they have only allowed two touchdowns through the air. Last season, Wilson was one of the five WRs who topped 100 yards against the Pats. Zach Wilson was his QB in that game too, so a motivated Garrett Wilson could replicate that performance. He finished as the overall WR15 that week.
Wilson remains a good fantasy option, but without Rodgers, he's no longer a WR1 and should be viewed as a WR2.
