Ezekiel Elliott missed last week with a knee injury that resulted from Week 7's two-touchdown outing against the Detroit Lions. Zeke and the Cowboys conveniently have their bye week, giving Elliott additional recovery time.
The RB played through the injury for the entire second half of Dallas's victory over Detroit. Elliott's injury is not considered serious and his status for Week 10 is up in the air.

Is Ezekiel Elliott Healthy or Injured?
Ezekiel Elliott doesn't miss games often. Sunday marked his second-career absence due to injury. Head coach Mike McCarthy originally reported Elliott's injury as a "sprained right MCL." Elliott himself refers to the knee injury as a bone bruise.
Regardless of what you want to call it, the back's knee injury is not a serious, structural issue we're dealing with. It was an injury derived from impact. Elliott's concern over the bye week is to reduce swelling and rest in time for the November 13 showdown with the Green Bay Packers.
Depending on how he recovers over the bye week, Elliott may not be considered injured for much longer. His right knee injury will require much rest, but little rehabilitation.
When Will Ezekiel Elliott Return From His Injury?
Ezekiel Elliott was optimistic about playing in last week's game against the Chicago Bears. Elliott told reporters last week that he could play on Sunday without practicing during the week. Given Zeke's confidence in suiting up against Chicago, one should suspect that Elliott will return sooner, rather than later.
Tony Pollard ran rampant in relief for Elliott, totaling 131 yards and three touchdowns off just 14 carries. Pollard's effectiveness and talent could factor in when Elliott makes his return. Dallas should be in no rush to return Zeke, though.
November 13th would mark 21 days since Elliott sustained the heavy hit causing this knee injury. Dallas has not speculated on when Elliott will make his return. The vocabulary used to describe Elliott's injury and recovery suggests that his absence will be limited to the one game he already missed. Monitor the 27-year-old's practice participation next week for a clearer answer on when the star running back will make his return.
