While Eli Manning is criminally underrated year after year, you should be smarter than to pass on Eli in 2015. The stage is set for Eli to post top-5 QB numbers and Eli has never floundered on a big stage. If your interpretation of Eli’s fantasy value is still dictated by his 27-interception campaign, perhaps you should drop your stigma and buy in on the elite potential of Eli Manning.

in 2014 , Eli finished in the top 10 of fantasy quarterbacks despite injuries galore for big blue. The Giants led the league in players placed on the IR, including then #1 WR Victor Cruz and big free agent acquisition Geoff Schwartz. Along the way key players such as Odell Beckham, Rashad Jennings, David Wilson, Jerrel Jernigan, and Justin Pugh all missed time adding to Eli’s rocky start. However, by week 7, it seemed Eli was finally understanding and executing Ben McAdoo’s new offense tremendously outside of his 49ers matchup.
There’s plenty of reason to be optimistic that Eli could be in for potentially his best year ever and at an 84.9 ADP, enormous dividends are in store for owners who stack their other positions before drafting Eli late. He owns one of the best WR duos in the league, a draft-bolstered OL, a stellar pair of pass-catching backs in Vereen and Jennings, and there should not be any excuse of a new offense as this is now the second year under McAdoo. Victor Cruz was once an elite receiver and I expect him to be back to his WR1 caliber and Odell Beckham posted enormous lines while flashing his record-breaking talents. The Beckham-Cruz duo is going to bring terror upon opposing corners. Meanwhile, Rashad Jennings proved his RB1 potential in 2014 before going down and the running game showed flourishing characteristics throughout the Jennings campaign. The supporting cast is in tact for Big Blue and Eli will display his elite value.
Coming off perhaps his best NFL season, I’ll be looking for Eli in the 7th round. Eli set his second highest QB rating at 92.1, which can be largely attributed to Ben McAdoo’s quick-hitting offense, west coast offense. These are qualities that match Beckham, Cruz, and Vereen exceptionally. With the weapons, the perfect offensive scheme, and the obvious talent of Eli, it’s time for Manning to catapult himself into fantasy stardom in 2015. I expect a top 5 QB finish for Eli in 2015 and beginning in the 7th round, you should be looking to fill your QB slot with the likings of Eli Manning. You can’t spell ‘Elite’ without Eli.
