Carolina Panthers running back Is D'Onta Foreman has played well in his first year with the team. However, he got off to a slow start behind superstar Christian McCaffrey.
Over the first six games this year, the former Texas Longhorn had only 12 rushing attempts. Yet, things changed after the Panthers shipped off McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers.
After trading away the franchise cornerstone player, Carolina named Chuba Hubbard the new starting running back. Unfortunately, the second-year running back suffered an injury in his first start of the year in Week 7. Foreman took over as the starting running back and hasn’t looked back.

Is D'Onta Foreman Playing In Week 14?
The former Longhorn has dealt with a foot injury he suffered a few weeks ago in the win over the Denver Broncos. He missed practice on Wednesday but returned on Thursday. Thankfully, Foreman was a full participant in today’s practice and is off the injury report.
Fantasy players should be thrilled that the veteran running back is healthy and ready to play this week. He has an excellent fantasy matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Should I start Foreman For Fantasy Football?
Seattle has been a fantasy goldmine for running backs this year. They have surrendered 25.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game to the position, the second-most in the NFL. Over the past three weeks, the Seahawks have given up 506 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, and 103.1 fantasy points to running backs.
Furthermore, Seattle has surrendered 1,343 rushing yards to running back this season, the seventh-most in the NFL. The Seahawks have allowed running back to total 100 or more rushing yards in 58.3% of the games this year, including two of the past three contests.
Meanwhile, Foreman has played outstanding since taking over as the starter. Over the past six games, the veteran running back has averaged 87.7 rushing yards and 13.9 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, he has rushed for 113 or more yards in 67% of those contests, including two of the past three.
Week 14 has six teams on the bye. Fantasy players will be without several superstars, including Jonathan Taylor, Alvin Kamara, and Aaron Jones. Thanks to his excellent matchup against Seattle, Foreman is a low-end RB1 this week.
