Is Donovan Peoples-Jones A Good Fantasy Football Pickup For Week 5? Waiver Wire Outlook
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones is set to return to the fantasy radar after a strong Week 4 performance against the Atlanta Falcons. With Cleveland passing more than expected under Jacoby Brissett, Peoples-Jones has drawn nine or more targets twice this season, so he'll be a hot waiver wire add for Week 5.
Peoples-Jones is still just 23 years old, so there's plenty of time for a breakout, and it could be coming sooner than later after a big day in Week 4.

Even as the WR2 in Cleveland, is Peoples-Jones worth adding to fantasy football rosters?
What Did Donovan Peoples-Jones Do Last Week?
Peoples-Jones caught five of his nine targets for 74 yards in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons. One of his catches was a deep ball that placed him at the one-yard-line, so he was close to a boom performance in the fantasy stat sheet. Cornerback A.J. Terrell covered Amari Cooper on 100-percent of his routes, setting up Peoples-Jones to be the primary wide receiver in Week 4.
Peoples-Jones eclipsed a 25-percent target share, so his day raised eyebrows among wide receiver needy fantasy managers.
Should I Pick Donovan Peoples-Jones Off The Waiver Wire In Fantasy Football?
Peoples-Jones will have plenty of weeks to show out when Cooper is being limited by top cornerbacks, but he's far from a sure thing in fantasy lineups. With David Njoku looking like a breakout candidate and Kareem Hunt being one of the best pass-catching backs in the NFL, there's suddenly plenty of target competition.
Ultimately, Peoples-Jones is a fine waiver add as a playable flex receiver, but his best value is as a late-season lotto ticket stash when Deshaun Watson returns to the NFL playing field in Week 13, just in time for the fantasy playoffs. With Watson under center, his ceiling could be as high as its ever been and he could even be viewed as a consistent WR2/3.
