Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane shined to begin his rookie campaign but unfortunately went down with a shoulder injury which resulted in Achane being placed on the injured reserve in Week 6.
After having to miss the last four weeks due to being on the injured reserve, the 22-year-old out of Texas A&M was informed by head coach Mike McDaniel on Monday that his 21-day practice window has now been opened.
Will he play in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders? Let's take a look at Achane's injury status.

Is De'Von Achane Playing in Week 11?
As per the latest update, the Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel informed reporters Monday that the team will open the practice window for the rookie running back. The team will now have 21 days to activate the rookie and add him back to the 53-man roster.
It was noted last week as well that McDaniel noticed zero setbacks for Achane and that there should be no reason for the running back to attempt to play in Week 11 against the Raiders. The Dolphins are 6-3 on the season and have the best record in the AFC East. Achane's ability to maintain the rushing attack of this explosive Dolphins offense is exactly what will help the team moving forward.
De'Von Achane Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
In the four games that he has played this season, Achane has recorded 38 carries for 460 rushing yards and five touchdowns. In his last three games played, he was averaging 151 rushing yards per game and totaled all five of his touchdowns.
Achane's outlook for the rest of the season is an interesting one. The rookie running back showcased his skills before the injury but also saw a split with running back Raheem Mostert who has been a top fantasy option this season. If Achane receives the green light this week, expect the Dolphins to ease him back into the workload, especially seeing a split workload between both Mostert and Jeff Wilson.
Although the Dolphins draw a friendly matchup against the Raiders in Week 11, it would be a risky start to put Achane in your lineup this quickly. However, with bye and injury issues, Achane can be viewed as a flex play this week.
