Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is in the midst of another strong season as one of the top fantasy football running backs, but fantasy managers might be without his services in Week 17 – the championship round of the fantasy football playoffs.
On the season, Henry has rushed for 1,429 yards and 13 touchdowns, adding 32 receptions for 379 yards. He hasn't missed a game this season, but he's in real danger of being out of action against the Dallas Cowboys.
Will Henry play in Week 17 and is Hassan Haskins worth starting if not? Let's find out.

Derrick Henry Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Henry (hip) is officially listed as doubtful to play against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17. Since the Thursday Night game against Dallas carries zero significance in the Titans' playoff chances, there's a real chance he doesn't play. If he plays, he's obviously a must-start, even with the risk of a reduced workload.
If he's out, Hassan Haskins would presumably be the featured back for Tennessee, with undrafted free agent rookie Julius Chestnut mixing in. It would be a tough break for fantasy managers who rode Henry all the way to the fantasy title game, but that's always a risk, and part of the "fun".
Should I Start Hassan Haskins In Week 17?
Haskins rushed for 1,327 yards and 20 touchdowns in his final season as a Michigan Wolverine and was drafted by the Titans in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL draft.
In his rookie season, Haskins has carried 11 times for 50 yards and caught all seven of his targets for 31 yards. Those aren't Earth-shattering numbers, but he has been serviceable when called upon this season. Ever since Dontrell Hilliard (neck) suffered an injury that placed him on Injured Reserve, Haskins has been the breather back for Henry,
All that said, It's worth noting Tennessee will be without four of its five starters on the offensive line from opening day. To make things more difficult, Dallas has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Ultimately, Haskins' ceiling will be low if he starts in a lifeless Titans' offense led by Malik Willis, but there are plenty of fantasy managers in need of any starting running back.
