Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry still carries the rock at a high volume. His 40 carries in two weeks rank second in the NFL, and he has rushed for the ninth-most yards.
Although his per-carry average is down from last season, he's still scoring enough points with his volume to make fantasy managers happy. But a problem cropped up on the Week 3 injury report. Henry was limited in practice with a toe injury.
Will Henry be healthy enough to play and take 20 carries this weekend against the Browns? Let's check the latest updates on Derrick Henry's injury situation.

Derrick Henry Injury Update
Henry did not go down or look limited at all in the Titans' Week 2 win over the Chargers. He ran for 80 yards on 25 carries in that contest so his inclusion on this week's injury report was a surprise. It is good that he was able to get limited practice in. Many veterans of his stature do not even practice at all on Wednesdays. Henry has been banged up throughout his career. Last season, he was listed on the injury report almost every week but did not miss a single game.
Will Derrick Henry Be Ready For Week 3?
Henry still has two days of practice this week before this Sunday's game in Cleveland. If he is unable to log a full practice on Friday, you should be concerned. That said, minor injuries often crop up on Wednesday injury reports and do not affect a player's availability or production. It is likely that is what is happening here.
The last time Henry missed extended time was in 2021 when he broke his foot during a game in Week 8. He has been extremely durable and reliable every other year. He played 15 games in 2019 and 16 games in 2020 and 2022. As long as Derrick Henry is able to go, he should be good to put in your fantasy lineup.
Derrick Henry Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook
The Cleveland Browns defense that Henry faces in Week 3 is one of the best in the league. According to my analysis, they have the best defensive line--both edge rushers and interior--and the third-best defense as a unit.
But you don't have to look at my analysis. Look at the numbers. The Browns are allowing just 65.0 rushing yards per game, which is the third-least in the league. Opponents are rushing for 3.2 yards per carry, the fourth-fewest. They are a tough matchup for fantasy running backs. Opposing RBs score just 11.0 points per game against them, the eighth-lowest average.
All of that said, the Titans' offense still runs through Derrick Henry, and that should be expected to remain true in Week 3. While Henry's efficiency might be down, he will still most likely get a lot of carries if he plays and is probably a better choice as your RB2 or flex than some backup RB you might have on your bench.
