Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was a hot free agent this offseason, but when he landed with Tennessee, his fantasy outlook was difficult to project. After seeing 13 targets in Week 1, he's clearly the target hog for the Titans and could have boom weeks ahead.
However, the 31-year-old wideout picked up an injury in his team debut against the New Orleans Saints. We have his latest injury update.
Is Hopkins playing in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Chargers? What is his fantasy football outlook? Let's dive in.

DeAndre Hopkins Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Hopkins (ankle) was listed as a non-practice participant on Wednesday with an ankle injury that he apparently suffered in the Week 1 loss to the New Orleans Saints. It's entirely possible that the Titans are just giving the 31-year-old a veteran day of rest and maintenance, but fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his practice status the next two days.
As long as Hopkins gets back on the practice field on Thursday or Friday, he should be good to go for this Sunday's home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.
DeAndre Hopkins Week 2 Fantasy Outlook
While Ryan Tannehill struggled mightily in the Week 1 loss to the Saints, Hopkins caught seven passes for 65 yards on 13 targets in his Titans' debut. He might not maintain his 38% target share from Week 1, but he will likely sit near the top of the league in that category.
That said, he should at least continue to be a low-end WR2 in fantasy lineups. If Tannehill can shake off his performance from one of the worst games of his career, Hopkins could have boom-week upside with elite target volume.
The Los Angeles Chargers were just torched for 466 passing yards in Week 1, so this could be a get-right game for the Tennessee passing offense. If Hopkins doesn't play, Treylon Burks will be a FLEX consideration.
