Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has been one of the best wide receivers since he joined the NFL in 2013.
The star receiver has made the Pro Bowl five teams. He has also made the Associated Press first team three times in his career and second team twice.
Unfortunately, the former Clemson star has missed 15 games over the past two years because of injuries and a suspension.

Is DeAndre Hopkins Getting Traded In The Offseason?
Hopkins has played well since getting traded to the Cardinals before the 2020 season. However, the team reportedly will trade away the star receiver in the offseason. Their salary cap situation isn’t ideal, and Marquise Brown is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
The veteran receiver will likely want an extension or new deal, as his current contract has only two years left. However, the Cardinals are unlikely to give Hopkins what he wants in a new contract, which should lead to a trade.
Any team that wants to trade for the star receiver will need Hopkins’ approval. The former first-round pick has a no-trade clause and likely will only accept a trade to a contending team.
Which Teams Could Trade for DeAndre Hopkins?
Whoever trades for Hopkins will have the star receiver at an excellent price. He has two years remaining on his contract for less than $35 million, with a cap hit of $19.5 million in 2023 and only $14.9 million in 2024. Meanwhile, the Cardinals will have a $22.6 million dead cap hit by trading the receiver.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Green Bay Packers are the most favored team to trade for Hopkins at +350. Behind them are the New England Patriots (+450), Kansas City Chiefs (+500), and New York Giants (+750).
While the Packers have the best odds at trading for the star receiver, it seems like an unlikely destination. Green Bay’s salary cap situation isn’t ideal, and Aaron Rodgers’ uncertain future makes it unlikely that Hopkins accepts a deal sending him to the Packers.
The Patriots would make sense for the star receiver. New England will have over $30 million in cap space this offseason. They haven’t had a No. 1 wide receiver in years, and Mac Jones needs one if he is going to take the next step forward in his development. Furthermore, Hopkins and Bill Belichick have the ultimate respect for each other.
