Is David Njoku Playing Today Against The Bengals?
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is having his best season as a pro. Njoku has logged 41 receptions, 464 receiving yards, and two TDs in 2022.
Unfortunately, Njoku's season has been derailed by injuries in recent weeks. He missed Weeks 8 & 10, returned to the lineup for two games, but was again sidelined last week against the Houston Texans. The talented TE has returned to practice this week and looks set to return against the Bengals in Week 14.
David Njoku Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 14
It has been a true breakout season for the physically-gifted Njoku, as he's played the best ball of his career with Jacoby Brissett at the helm for this Cleveland offense. That said, this week's matchup against the Bengals will mark his first regular-season action with new QB Deshaun Watson.
The TE position is always one of the most frustrating fantasy spots to fill. While there are some concerns about Watson's ability to deliver the ball as he works his way back from an extended suspension, Njoku's improved health - and talent - are certainly positive factors, as is the expected game environment against Cincinnati.
It shouldn't be considered a slam-dunk, but fantasy GMs that have Njoku on their rosters almost have to lock him in as a TE1 this week.
