Is David Njoku Hurt Or Healthy?
It's fair to say that 2022 has been a mixed bag for David Njoku, as he's performed at perhaps the highest level of his career when on the field, but has also battled nagging knee and ankle injuries that have forced him to miss three games this season.
After missing Cleveland's Week 13 tilt against the Houston Texans, Njoku returned to the lineup last week against the Cincinnati Bengals. His impact was immediate, as he recorded seven catches for 59 yards and a TD.
Unfortunately, Njoku has once again popped up on the Browns' injury report this week. He was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice session with a knee issue. The TE is currently listed as questionable for a Week 15 date with the Baltimore Ravens.
David Njoku Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 15
Njoku has battled knee and ankle injuries that have forced him to miss three games this season. That said, this appears to be nothing more than a precautionary measure ahead of a short week.
Cleveland will face the Baltimore Ravens on Week 15's Saturday slate, so Njoku will have one less day than normal to nurse any ailments. Fantasy managers will need to monitor his status throughout the week. Assuming Njoku is all systems go for Saturday's divisional clash with the Ravens, fantasy managers can lock and load him as a TE1 play.
