In Josh McDaniels' first year as the head coach, the Las Vegas Raiders have underperformed drastically, holding a 6-10 record into the last week of the regular season. Nine-year veteran quarterback Derek Carr has been benched in favor of former New England backup, Jarrett Stidham.
Following his 153-yard performance, Davante Adams set the Raiders' single-season record with 1,443 receiving yards. Adams was listed on Las Vegas's Week 18 injury report with an illness.
In what shapes up as a meaningless game for Adams and the Raiders, many wonder if McDaniels will be conservative with his star wide receiver. Is Davante Adams injured? Will he play in Week 18? Let's dive in.

Davante Adams Injury News
The Fresno State product was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Although Las Vegas did not practice on Tuesday, the team estimated that Adams would have been a limited participant if they did.
There have been headlines questioning Adams' level of content with the Raider organization following the benching of Derek Carr. The two-time All-Pro wideout has already expressed his interest in staying in Las Vegas regardless of who is throwing him the rock. All he asks is for a say in the decision-making process.
Adams has two days until the Raiders take on the Chiefs to close out their disappointing season. Given that he's participating in full force, owners should expect to have their star receiver in Week 18.
Is Davante Adams Injured or Playing in Week 18?
It would be a shock to see the former Green Bay Packer sit the season finale out. In the first matchup against Kansas City this year, Davante Adams caught just three of seven targets. He made the most of them, totaling 124 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His 27.4 full-PPR fantasy points ranked fourth among wide receivers in Week 5.
The quarterback change has not impacted Adams' production. Even with Jarrett Stidham stepping in under center, Adams totaled 34.3 fantasy points and scored multiple touchdowns for the fifth time this year.
Lock and load Davante Adams into your Week 18 fantasy lineup, assuming he's active. The Chiefs have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this year.
