Dalvin Cook got going in Week 3 with 17 carries for 96 yards and a touchdown, as he found the end zone for the first time this season.
However, this came at a cost. Cook exited the game early after a play where he lost a fumble, hurting his shoulder in the process.
Is Dalvin Cook Healthy Or Injured?
Cook suffered a shoulder dislocation on the play, which is something he has dealt with in the past. In the 2021 season, he suffered the exact same injury and missed just one game before he returned to action 11 days later and put up 27 carries for 205 yards and two touchdowns.

Tom Pelissero reports that he is dealing with an unrepaired labral tear, but he is expected to be just fine going forward.
#Vikings RB Dalvin Cook’s shoulder dislocated again today, as it has in the past, and he'll be OK, per sources.
Cook has an unrepaired labral tear and wasn't wearing a harness. As @ProFootballTalk said, the hope is Cook will harness up and play next Sunday vs. the #Saints.

Will Dalvin Cook Play In Week 4?
The hope is that Cook will put a harness on his shoulder and be ready to play in Week 4 against the Saints in London.
He did the same thing last year in his massive game against the Steelers, so it doesn't seem like an injury that will limit him when he is on the field.

As of now, fantasy managers shouldn't be overly concerned about Cook missing time, but this is an injury that has a high risk of re-aggravation. If he plays, which it seems like he will, he can continue to be valued as an RB1 option.
However, it is worth noting that Alexander Mattison would be a borderline RB1 option for fantasy managers if Cook is to be held out of action in Week 4, so he will likely be a hot commodity in leagues where he is not rostered.
Fantasy managers should keep an eye out for updates on the stud running back as Week 4 kickoff approaches.
