Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert didn't get out to a great start in 2023, but over the last two weeks, he has heated up and posted solid showings, especially in PPR leagues. He's on a great offense and has a high ceiling, so he remains a fantasy TE1 candidate.
However, the 28-year-old was banged up in the Week 6 loss to the New York Jets. We have his latest update.
Will Goedert play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 7? What's his fantasy outlook if he can play? Let's dive in.

Dallas Goedert Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Goedert (elbow) was in the medical tent on the sideline and not on the field for the final drive in the Week 6 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday, but he's fine, according to an NFL source. Goedert just dinged his elbow and should be ready to play in Week 7 in a showdown against the Miami Dolphins.
The 28-year-old came back down to Earth a bit on Sunday after posting a season-high eight receptions on nine targets for 117 yards and his first touchdown of the year last week against the Rams. Against the Jets, Goedert had five catches for 42 yards on eight targets.
Dallas Goedert Fantasy Football Outlook
While Goedert's low floor can show up any week as a part of a crowded pass-catching group, his ceiling keeps him firmly as a top-12 play at the position in all matchups. The Eagles-Dolphins Sunday Night Football contest has the highest projected point total (52) on the Week 7 schedule, so now is definitely not the time to consider benching him.
Miami has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season and will likely put pressure on the Eagles to pass in order to keep up in what could become a shootout. Two weeks ago, Darren Waller caught eight passes on 11 targets for 86 yards against Miami. Goedert may not see that many looks, but he has splash-play ability and is always a threat in the red zone.
