Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is coming off arguably the best season of his career, throwing for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Those numbers also led to Prescott finishing as the QB3 in fantasy while averaging 20.7 fantasy points per game.
While the 30-year-old quarterback and the Cowboys haven't agreed to an extension yet, Prescott is still expected to be present for training camp in July. That is if he is healthy enough because the Pro Bowler was seen wearing a walking boot just a couple of days ago.
So, is Prescott injured or healthy? Let's dive in and find out.

Dak Prescott Injury Update for Fantasy Football
On Wednesday, July 3, a picture was posted to X showing Prescott in a walking boot. Then, one day later, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed that the quarterback is dealing with a minor foot sprain.
It's unclear when or how Prescott suffered the foot injury, but with Dallas' OTAs wrapped since the beginning of June, he likely sustained the injury sometime after that. However, various reports have confirmed that this recent injury shouldn't affect his availability for the start of training camp at the end of July.
#Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, spotted here in a protective walking boot, is dealing with a very minor foot sprain and has been for a few days. It’s not considered to be anything that should affect his preparation for 2024. https://t.co/h1WPyxozIS

Prescott still has over two weeks to get ready for training camp. So, that should be enough time for him to overcome this "minor" foot sprain.
Dak Prescott 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
After a dominant fantasy campaign in 2023, Prescott will look to repeat that success this upcoming year. Last season, the veteran quarterback scored over 19 fantasy points in nine of 17 games while also scoring over 24 fantasy points seven times. With mostly the same offensive pieces around him, there's no reason he can't finish top-five at the position again.
Assuming All-Pro wide receiver CeeDee Lamb doesn't hold out during the season, Prescott will have Lamb, Brandin Cooks, and Jake Ferguson in the passing game. Those three pass catchers mixed with Mike McCarthy's play calling should give the quarterback a nice fantasy floor in 2024.

Prescott has also been a consistent fantasy option since he entered the league in 2016. He has finished as a top 10 fantasy quarterback in five of his eight years, including two of the past three seasons. While he won't rush much, the Cowboys signal-caller makes up for it through the air, where he has totaled over 4,400 pass yards in three of the past five seasons. That makes him a nice option in the middle rounds.
