Is Cooper Kupp Hurt Or Healthy?
Cooper Kupp is an elite fantasy producer that has once again put up monster numbers in 2022. The Rams' wide receiver has been a consistent WR1 for fantasy managers throughout the year and has tallied 812 receiving yards and six TDs on 75 receptions.
Unfortunately, Kupp suffered what appeared to be a serious injury in the fourth quarter of L.A.'s Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. While The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue reports that Kupp "appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario with the injury", the wideout is still "expected to miss some time" according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Cooper Kupp Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 11
While initial reports indicate that Kupp appears to have avoided a season-ending ankle injury, his fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back in Week 11.
As the entire football world waits for more news from the game's top wide receiver, Kupp's fantasy managers should start preparing for life without him, as it looks like the best possible scenario involves him missing at least multiple weeks, though we should know more once Kupp's full MRI results return in the coming days.
Look for L.A.'s other receivers such as Allen Robinson, Van Jefferson, and Ben Skowronek - as well as tight end Tyler Higbee - to see an uptick in targets for the duration of Kupp's absence.
