Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard became a hot name in fantasy football when Christian McCaffrey was traded to the San Francisco 49ers, but after missing two weeks with an ankle injury, he's available in a ton of leagues on the waiver wire.
D'Onta Foreman had a monster game in his absence against the Atlanta Falcons, so Hubbard's outlook when he returns is tough to figure out. That said, he's expected to still have somewhat of a role, so his injury updates are worth monitoring.
Is Hubbard healthy enough to play in the rematch against the Falcons on Thursday Night Football in Week 10? Let's find out.

Is Chuba Hubbard Healthy or Injured?
Hubbard (ankle) is officially questionable to play Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons. Hubbard practiced last week before being ruled out, so that could mean he's trending toward playing in this primetime matchup.
As always, it's important to monitor the latest injury news ahead of Thursday Night Football, as you don't want to have Hubbard locked in the lineup if he's ruled out, resulting in a goose egg to begin your fantasy matchup.
Chuba Hubbard Week 10 Fantasy Outlook
The last time Hubbard saw the field was in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He scored 14.3 half-point PPR fantasy points while averaging seven yards per rushing attempt before leaving the game early with the ankle injury. If he can play on Thursday, Hubbard will likely split time with D'Onta Foreman in the Carolina backfield, but it's tough to know who will get the majority of the work.
It can be assumed Foreman would be the touch leader since Hubbard might be eased back into the offense, but it's far from a fact. After all, Hubbard was beginning to be the clear touch leader before the injury happened.
Ultimately, Hubbard is a risky fantasy start if he's active since the tanking Carolina Panthers are tough to predict and project. In deep leagues, he's a fine desperation play as he does have upside in a juicy matchup. Hopefully, fantasy managers in shallower leagues have alternative options. No matter what, he's worth picking up for later in the season since the running back position is always scarce.
