Green Bay wide receiver Christian Watson found the end zone again last week in the Packers' win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Watson has been having a disappointing season after coming into year two with much optimism based on the big-play ability he flashed in the second half of his rookie season. But it has been a disappointing year for fantasy managers rostering Watson. He has fallen behind his teammates to be the third option.
If Watson's lack of production wasn't bad enough, he has also missed multiple games with injuries. What is Christian Watson's injury status? Will Christian Watson play?

Christian Watson Latest Injury Update - November 21
Christian Watson is questionable with a shoulder injury. The Packers are playing on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions, so they needed to release an early injury report. Although they did not practice on Monday, they estimated that Christian Watson (shoulder) would have put in limited practice.
Christian Watson Injury Update for Fantasy Football
In Week 11, Watson was also a "limited" participant in all three of the week's practices because of the same shoulder injury. But Watson still ran 35 routes, which is about what he has been doing every game that he has played. So the injury appears to be minor and is not impacting his usage.
Whether the injury is limiting his effectiveness is another question. But it is more likely that Watson is just running sloppy routes and dropping the occasional pass because he is an unpolished athlete. He was doing those things last season, too, and he's been doing it this year whatever his injury status has been.
NFL players get banged up through the season, and most of them will appear as "limited" on the practice report at least a couple of times. That appears to be the case with Watson. There is no indication that he might miss time.
Christian Watson Fantasy Football Outlook
Christian Watson has only gained over 40 yards in a game once this season. That was a Week 5 game against the Raiders in which he happened to have a 77-yard gain, and he only gained 14 yards on his other two catches.
Watson has never caught more than three passes in a game, and lately, he hasn't even been doing that. He has caught two or fewer passes in each of the past three games. While he did salvage last week's two-catch, 21-yard performance with a touchdown, it was only his second of the year.
The disappointing No. 34 pick of the 2022 draft isn't the No. 1 WR on his own team. He's not even the No. 2 WR. Averaging 5.3 points per game, Watson is No. 3 in terms of PPR average and No. 4 in terms of total fantasy scoring, having fallen behind rookie Jayden Reed, fellow second-year man Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks (in total scoring).
If you drafted Watson, you unfortunately spent a relatively high pick on the guy who is far from living up to his ADP. You might feel you have to hold him and start him against a leaky Detroit Lions defense in what could end up being a shootout. Watson does have big play upside, so it's not outside the realm of possibilities that he will take a deep ball to the house. But he is a very risky start, and most managers in 12-team leagues can probably find better production elsewhere.
