Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has been a consistent PPR fantasy scorer over the past four weeks. It was a rough start to the season for the 27-year-old. However, he has picked it up in recent weeks, developing a nice rapport with quarterback Baker Mayfield.
However, Godwin finds himself on the injury report heading into the Buccaneers' Thursday night game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8. The slot wideout has been dealing with a neck injury after the team's loss in Week 7.
Is Godwin injured or healthy? Will he play in Week 8? Let's dive in.

Chris Godwin Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Godwin took some big hits in the Buccaneers' 16-13 loss in Week 7, and that has the wideout dealing with a neck issue before Week 8. In that contest, he saw a season-high 12 targets while catching six of them for 66 yards.
On Monday, Godwin was a non-participant in practice with that neck injury. However, the wideout upgraded his practice status on Tuesday by getting some field work in a limited fashion. The limited practice likely puts the veteran on track to suit up on Thursday.
The Buccaneers will have one more day to practice on Wednesday before determining Godwin's status for Thursday's game. If the wideout can get in a full practice, he will enter Week 8 without an injury designation.
Chris Godwin Fantasy Football Outlook
Godwin has picked things up in fantasy as of late. After finishing as the WR44, WR52, and WR53 in half-PPR formats in the first three weeks, he has three top-30 finishes over the past three contests since then. His six-catch, 66-yard performance in Week 7 helped him finish as the WR25 in half-PPR formats.
Godwin won't wow you with his numbers, but he gets the job done, especially in PPR formats. He has 10-plus PPR points in five of six games this season and is averaging 12.47 points in those leagues. He remains a high-floor, low-ceiling option moving forward.
If Godwin is able to suit up in Week 8, he will be a solid WR3/flex option. The Buccaneers will have to throw to keep up with the Bills' high-powered offense, meaning more catches could be in the works for the 27-year-old wideout.
